in my life

i celebrated my 34th birthday yesterday. 34 years....i feel older. i feel wiser. i feel that in my my life i've learned a thing or two....i've learned to keep my ears, eyes and heart open. i've learned nothing is ever really as it seems. i've learned that nothing stays the same. i've learned that i value relationships more than the need to be right. i've learned that it's wise to accept the many differences in people/relationships and not judge any of them. i've learned that everyone experiences and learns lessons at their own pace and at different times. i've learned that family is the most important thing. i've learned that not all friendships last and that's not a bad thing. i've learned my biggest mistakes have turned out to be my greatest lessons and am now a happier, better person. i've learned that humility is something to be practiced everyday...
