homemade tortillas

you will need:

2 to 3 cups of white flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup milk
rolling pin or tortilla press

Mix all the ingredients together-the order doesn't matter. I  always end up using more flour than what the recipe calls for. break off baseball sizes of the dough and either roll it out with a rolling pin or use a tortilla press. I don't have a tortilla press so I roll the dough out as thin as I can then use either a bowl or round plate (depending on what size you want or how big your frying pan is) and cut out the tortilla around the edges of the bowl or plate. Then place the tortilla in the frying pan that's heated between med and med-low heat- no oil needed. flip over to make sure both sides are cooked through and whala! Enjoy!

I store mine in zip-loc bags after they've cooled off.
