just breathe



the other day i took the kids to the great salt lake shore lands preserve/nature conservancy. they were a little freaked out about the 'swamp' underneath some of the bridges but, still had a good time....sometimes you just have to quiet your mind, take a deep breathe and surrender your worries to Him....going to a place like this and watching/listening to your kids helps. they were very inquisitive about why this place existed and the only thing that came to mind was this quote: 'the human spirit needs places where nature has not been rearranged by the hand of man.' --unknown.
