.....the last 2-3 years for harley and our family have been all about lessons, learning, healing, insight and moving forward stronger than ever. we had many trials come to our family and marriage. some trials felt unbearable and i would wonder how on earth we would ever get through them...but, we did ;)

so, i've taken all that i've learned, picked my family and myself up and decided to focus more on what is right in front of me.....for me, i needed a change of scenery. i drowned out all of the outside noise and searched far within myself for what truly made me happy.....my family will always be number one- of course....i'm talking about needing a fresh look. my home is where i decided to start....and i couldn't get this magazine issue out of my head. i've been obsessed with cottage styles fall/winter 2012 issue. it's all about wicker, whitewash, sand and sunshine.....i've never painted on canvas before but, why not try something new? yes, i'm picking up more sandpaper and paintbrushes this year-and adding canvases to the mix. this is getting exciting!! :)
