going through my old blog i realized i never documented our family vacation to nebraska last year. shame on me! when i told friends i was going to nebraska for a vacation i got the 'look'....and then the question: 'why are you going to nebraska?' a lot of harleys family is from there. before i met harley i had forgotten that this state existed...i am also incredibly geographically challenged :) so, when he told me we were going there i was actually very excited. mostly because i knew i would get to meet a lot of his family....and catch fireflies....i had never met a firefly before.

i recieved quite a bit of advice and warnings before embarking on this trip. everyone warned me about the heat and humidity. i swelled up like a balloon and my hair was very 'full' from the severe change in climate. i LOVED it!...but, judys advice was my favorite: 'don't smoke the weed.' :)
*so here are some pictures almost a year late. better late than never.
